Golden State Warriors fans will get what appears to be unprecedented candid access to their team's NBA Draft machinations Thursday evening with live tweets sent directly from within the team's "war room" throughout the event.
As the Warriors' coach, ownership, managers and advisors hunker down in Oakland to consider trades, debate picks and track who other teams choose, Kevin Cote, team's head of digital marketing, will be embedded next to consultant Jerry West and others, smartphone and laptop at hand. He'll document strategy and reactions, post photos from inside to Instagram and answer fan questions about the process.
